Faultless is how I would describe this product. It fits like an original part of the car and hides the metal which has always annoyed me about the boot. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to install and then about 5 minutes to complete the job once I realised I was trying to fit upside down. I have not noticed a sound reduction myself but my wife did comment on the car being quieter so I accept her opinion. I bought for the astetics but I do think the cabin is better insulated for warmth given I always saw the parcel shelf as the weak link of the cabin. I am very please with my purchase which was ordered on a Wednesday and arrived before 9AM the next morning which was a nice surprise/
